A deliberately small data footprint
Allotment Pro keeps the minimum information needed to provide the service. No advertising profiles. No third-party analytics. No selling or harvesting your data.
Pre-launch policy · Last reviewed 13 July 2026
If the product does not need information to work, we do not ask for it.
No third-party analytics, advertising trackers, device fingerprinting or behavioural profiles.
Plots, photographs, seed records and growing notes are not public unless you deliberately share them.
We do not sell, rent, harvest or trade personal information or growing records.
What we keep
Most information in Allotment Pro exists because you intentionally entered it as your private growing record.
Email address, authentication details supplied by the sign-in provider, and an optional display name.
Create, secure and support your account.
The plots, areas, plantings, seed lots, jobs, projects, notes, harvests and photographs you choose to add.
Provide the product and preserve your growing history.
Only the broad UK location or postcode area you choose to provide. A precise plot address is not required.
Give relevant seasonal and weather guidance.
Subscription status, product entitlement and payment references. Stripe handles card details; Allotment Pro does not store them.
Take payment, activate access and keep required financial records.
Your message and only the diagnostic information shown to you before you send it.
Investigate the issue or suggestion you intentionally submit.
Device information
Allotment Pro does not collect device information for analytics, advertising, fingerprinting or cross-site tracking.
Like any online service, essential infrastructure may temporarily process an IP address, browser request and security event to deliver the app, prevent abuse and diagnose a failure. This is operational traffic, not a user profile.
Use and lawful basis
Account and allotment data are processed to perform the service you purchase or request.
Minimal technical records may be processed for the legitimate interest of protecting accounts and infrastructure.
Limited payment and transaction records are retained where tax, accounting or other law requires it.
Feedback and optional diagnostics are processed to respond to the submission you initiate.
Service providers
Allotment Pro will use specialist providers only where needed to run the service. They process information on our instructions or provide a service you request; they do not receive it for their own advertising.
The final launch notice will identify the controller, privacy contact, provider locations, international-transfer safeguards and any email provider before account registration opens.
Retention
Exact production retention periods will be published before launch and enforced in the system—not left as good intentions.
Your records remain while your account is active because preserving them is the service.
Personal product data will be queued for deletion, including stored photographs and recoverable backups after their short expiry period.
Feedback diagnostics will be removed when no longer needed to investigate the submission.
Security and transaction records remain only for short operational periods or as long as law requires.
Your information, your rights
These rights can depend on the reason information is processed and are subject to the exceptions in UK data-protection law.
Request a copy of the personal information held about you.
Fix inaccurate or incomplete account information.
Download your growing records in a portable format.
Delete your account and personal growing records, subject to limited legal exceptions.
Ask us to stop or limit particular processing where the law provides that right.
Questions or concerns
A dedicated privacy contact and the legal identity of the data controller will appear here before account registration opens. You will also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office.
